Re: Is it possible to study Computer Engineer after 10th without doing Higher Secondary?
The minimum qualification required to pursue any engineering course is senior secondary board passed with PCM subjects or appearing for board examination. You can not apply for bachelor's degree in engineering or technology entrance examination without pursuing 12th.
Second option is to first pursue Diploma in Computer Science Engineering then apply for LEET exam or JEE exam to enter into degree in computer science engineering. You can opt for either 12th route to engineering or diploma route depending upon your convenience and choice. |

No, if you want to pursue B.Tech or B.E course then, you have to pursue 12th to get admission.
Another possible option is that you can take admission in Diploma course. Candidates passed 10th are eligible to get admission in diploma course. The entrance examination is conducted by government and private colleges for admission. After completion of diploma course, you are eligible to appear for LEET ( Lateral entry entrance Test) to get admission in 2nd year of B.Tech course. |

Re: Is it possible to study Computer Engineer after 10th without doing Higher Secondary?
As per your qualification right now you are not eligible to do Engineering in computer science from anywhere. As minimum educational qualifications to pursue Engineering in India are :
- One must have completed senior secondary or class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects from a recognised board with at least 50%. - If you don't want to pursue senior secondary, you can opt for diploma in computer science through polytechnic colleges in India and can join engineering afterwards through lateral entry scheme. - Diploma course is of 3 years and you will get admission directly into 2nd year after completion of diploma in specific stream through entrance tests conducted by various colleges and universities for diploma students. |

The qualification required for Computer Engineering course:
Academic qualification: Minimum requirement is 12th from a recognized board of India. In higher secondary board, you must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You can not pursue Engineering course just with tenth as academic qualification. You need to get admission in 11th standard and opt for science stream with Mathematics. |

You want to become a computer engineer, but you have just completed class 10th.
Engineering course cannot be done just after passing class 10th. You should complete class 11th and 12th first. In class 11th you should opt for subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Complete your class 12th and than appear for the Engineering Entrance tests like JEE, BITSAT. If you do 4 year BE in computers than you will get good jobs and also a very good future. |

Re: Is it possible to study Computer Engineer after 10th without doing Higher Secondary?
As far as you are concerned about studying Computer Engineering i.e; B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science without going for your higher secondary school degree being a Class 10th passed candidate then I would like to let you know that it is possible but for that you need to pursue three years diploma in engineering degree in computer science.
In case you opt for pursuing higher secondary school degree then you need to opt for Science stream with PCM group to pursue B.E./B.Tech. |
