Which is better to become an Engineer study Diploma Engineering and Higher Secondary?


Hi,
I have done 10th this year and I want to become an Engineer. I am so confused to select direct Engineering Diploma or Higher Secondary. Please suggest me asap.

You can become an Engineer after pursuing Engineering course after completion of Diploma Engineering or Higher Secondary after completion of your 10th standard from a recognised board. If you pursue Higher Secondary course after completion of your 10th standard, you can get admission in first year of four years Engineering course whereas if you pursue Diploma Engineering course after completion of your 10th standard, you can get admission in second year of four years Engineering course. So, I suggest you to opt the course in which you are interested for pursuing Engineering course.

Diploma is the basic level of course which you have chosen. After completion of diploma you can do graduation in only that field.

But after 12th you can choose any stream or course like medical or engineering.

If you have interest in engineering then go for diploma.

If you have interest in engineering and you have good basic knowledge about engineering then go for diploma.
Otherwise you can complete your higher secondary education.

After 10+2 you can also join medical field, if you haven't Intrest in engineering.

I think you should be complete your higher secondary education first and then appear for JEE exam conducted by IIT for admission to B.Tech.
