dear to be an ACP you have to appear in entrance exams which are conducted certainly...............
they have some cut off and if you clear the exam you will be called for a physical fitness test...........
you must be a graduate for appearing in such entrance exam.................................

HI,
For Assistant Commissioner you have to qualify the CENTRAL POLICE FORCES (AC) EXAM.
CENTRAL POLICE FORCES (AC) EXAM is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year..

Qualification:- Pass graduation with any stream from recognized university.

Age limit:-
For Open category:- 21-25 year

Both Male and female are eligible for this exam..

b.tech final year students are eligible for assistant provident fund commissioner 2012 exam

as it is a goverment job you need to give UPSC exam which is conducted by the govt of india
the exm is in english or hind and further information can be obtained from UPSC website itself
there you can get every information as well as question papers and study material
