i am a b-tech 3yr student, my trade is electrical $ electronics engg.(E.E.E.) and i want to join the indian army
how can i apply for the test. what is the procedure give in detail.

you can not fill up any form in 3rd year .

if you want to go for indian army then you can fill up the forms after 6 sem.

for tis you have to give the exam of CDS then after clearing exam you will have

to face the SSB in which you have to give an interview after this you will be a

part of the army

You can't join Any Entry being in 3rd year, But yes you can apply for some Entries to be a part of Indian Army .

You can apply for ample of Exams and Direct Entries.

One Exam is conducted by upsc But this Exam you need to Give at the Time of your 4th year. Because Eligibility For UPSC CDSE Exam is :- a guy with Graduation / Degree .

Prefinal year guys can't give CDSE Exam.

Even One more Exam Not exactly Exam its a Direct Entry mode which is SSC Technical Men in which you will face Direct SSB in one of the SSB Centre .

For Eligibility You need to be Final Year.

But Only One mode you can Apply for i.e UES university Entry scheme, You can apply for this mode at this Time i.e at Pre final year Time.

Notification For UES comes august End Or september First week, Keep tracking Employment News For the same at that period of time. You will face pre ssb first if you clear this you will face ssb at the ssb centres..

Thats a very good question and I appreciate your aim in life.
Indian Army is really a good career where you will get lots of respect and dignity.
After BE EEE, there are so many ways to join Indian Army.
1. There is an entry scheme for engineering students (Technical entry)
2. CDS - Combined Defense service
3. UES- Universal entry scheme
4. SSC- Short service commission

INDIAN ARMY

Indian Army is one of the defence branch of India.For being a part of Indian Army you should write the entrance exams like NDA,CDS exam.

According to the NDA and CDS exam they both are defence service exam and and both the exams are conducted by UPSC every year and is held twice.

Only unmarried male candidates can apply for both the exams.

Age limit for NDA:

Candidate who are appearing for the exam must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

Age limit for CDS:

Candidate must have a age limit of 19-24 years.

Education qualification for NDA:

The candidates must have completed their +2 from a recognized board with a fair percentile.

Education qualification for CDS:

The candidates must have completed their degree from a recognized university.

As you have done your B.tech in EEE,as far regarding your education qualification you are eligible,but check whether you satisfy the age limits.

Well, I have asked the similar question "Which is better Cognizant or Wipro" from 10 well placed IT & Software Professionals 6/10 voted for Cognizant.....!

Lets see what all 6 says why Cognizant is better:-

You can apply in INDIAN ARMY in technical field for the post of Engineer through SSB.. . You will face pre SSB first if you clear this you will face SSB at the SSB Centers.. The exam conducts twice a year and vacancies is as notified.For this exam age should be between 20-27 .Exam date is likely to be march/april and sep/oct.For notification kindly check Employment Newspaper and Leading National Newspaper.

You can join Indian Army through cracking NDA entrance exam as you are pursing B.Tech. 3rd year on the basis of 12th qualification provided you fulfill the age criteria.

But you can join Indian Army through CDS(Combined Defence Service) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year after completion of B.Tech. Degree or in the final year of B.Tech. Degree exam.

The eligible candidate aspiring to join Indian Army of CDS, must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental health.
