NDA exams are conducted by UPSC for:
Army
Airforce
NAVY
Naval Academy

This exam is conducted twice each year
Next exam will be held on 11th august 2013
Forms will come out in May 2013

Eligibilty to apply for the NDA exams is:

Educational Qualification :
Army Wing-12th Class Pass/Equivalent in any stream from a recognised Board/Equivalent.

Airforce, Navy and Naval Academy Wing-12th Pass with Physics and Maths as subjects from a recognised Board/Equivalent.

AGE
Minimum age 16.5 years
Maximum age- 19 years

Selection Procedure involves:
>> Written Test
>> SSB interview

to join NDA you must have passed 12th and your age shall be between 16 and 1/2 years to 19 and 1/2 years...you can apply for NDA at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in

*) NDA(National Defence Academy) exam is to join navy, military and airforce of India.

*) make sure that you are in the age between 16.5 to 19 years.

*) you have to write NDA exam which is conducted by UPSC.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy

NDA is conducted by UPSC Twice Time in year called NDA-I and NDA-II yoou can apply any of Among this if you satisefied Following Qualifications.......

A candidate who are aspiring to join NDA then He should have first of all have to complete their 12th Science with Group-A Subjects......

That is, Chemistry, Phyiscs, Mathematics, Physics, English and Computer......

Age Limit:

An age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.......

Nationality:

A candidate must have citizenship of India.....

Mrital Status:

Only Unmarried Male are eligible for it.....

NDA exam is conducted in Three Wings:

NDA (National Defence Academy) is Situated in Khadakvasla, Maharashtra. You have to pass examination conducted by UPSC to get into NDA.

NDA exam is conducted 2 times in a years and you must have the required qualifications if you are aiming to join it.

Educational Requirements for NDA:

-10+2 pass from a recognised Board of Education.

-For Indian Air Force and Indian Navy you must complete 10+2 with physics and mathematics subjects.

The procedure of admission is as follows:-

First of all you have to go to www.upsc.gov.in and fill online form for the NDA exam. (PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU FULFILL THE CRITERIA REQUIRED TO GO FOR THE PRESTIGIOUS SERVICE OF NDA)

ELIGIBILITY :-


1. Candidate must have 16.5 minimum and 19 years of maximum age
2. No relaxation is given to anybody and selection is purely on merit basis
3. Only Males candidate can apply, females are not allowed
4. Only Indian citizen are eligible,
5. Only unmarried candidate are eligible
6. Maths and Physics should be compulsory subject for Air force and Navy
7. Any subject is okay for Army.

You can even fill the form offline also.
Then you will be called for Written exam
written exam will have questions from Maths, Science, Physics, GK etc
Then if you clear the exam then you will be called by NDA for Physical examination
And if you clear that you will be selected for the course.

Physical Requirement are as follows :-

Height :- 157.5 cm
Weight :- Not less then 50 KG
Chest :- 80 cm
Expansion :- 5 CM
Good eye sight (6/6,6/9)
Must not have Flat Feet

Dear Aspirant,

You need to apply for the NDA Exam which is conducted by the UPSC Board.

For that you need to be an Indian citizen.

Whose age should be less than 20years.

Should have subjects like Physics,maths,Chemistry in his/her 12th board exam.

These are the important things which are must for writing this exam.

IF you fail to provide this things then am sorry to say that you are not eligible for writing the exam.

Procedure to join NDA

To join the National Defence Academy(NDA) you should have these minimum qualifications :-

1) You must be an unmarried male

2) You should be not less than 16.5 years and not more than 19 years of age as on 1st Jan or 1st July

3) You should be appearing for class 12th boards..otherwise you must have already cleared your 12th

4) If you want to apply for Air Force or Navy then you should have Physics and Maths as your subjects in 12th..

5) You should have a perfect eyesight and also be physically fit to clear medical exam round

Following rounds you shall face before getting admission to the academy :-

1) Written Test
2) Interview
3) Medical Exam

This exam is known as one of the Defence service exam and this exam is being conducted by UPSC and is held evey year twice as NDA I and NDA II.This exam is mainly conducted for candidate to join in defence forces of India such as:

• Indian Army
• Indian Navy
• Indian Air Force

There are criteria's which are needed to be satisfied:

# The candidate appearing for the exam must have a Citizenship in India
