Following is the eligibility criteria to join CBI:

1. Age: (a) For Assistant Grade & Sub Inspectors in CBI, candidates must be aged between 20 and 27 years.

(b) For Inspectors of CE / IT & Divisional Accountants/Auditors/ UDCs etc., candidates must be aged between 18 and 27 years.

(c) For Sub Inspectors in Central Police Forces, candidates must be aged between 20 and 25 years.

2. Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification required for applying to the SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination is a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of any recognized Indian University.

3. Gender: Applicable to both men and women.

4. Nationality: Indian.

5. Scheme of Examination: The SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination is divided into two stages, each carrying maximum marks of 100 and having duration of 2 hours.

The First Section tests the General Intelligence & General Awareness of the candidates while the Second Section is on Arithmetic

Hi, to join CBI the basic requirement is that you must be a graduate from any recognized university.

You have to apply for CGLE, Combined graduate level exam conducted by ssc.
After clearing the two stages i.e. prelims and mains you can join the cbi.

dear friend,

To become CBI officer, you may appear for combined graduate preliminary exam, conducted by staff selection commission.

To be eligible for the exam, you must hold a bachelors degree (any*stream), from a recognized university.

The minimum age is 20 years whereas, the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

*The candidates should be a graduate from any discipline, with more than 55% , from a recognize university.
*The age limit is 22- 30 yrs
There is a relaxation for sc/ st & obc candidates.

Eligibility for Central Bureau Of Investigation(CBI):-



The Central Bureau Investigation(CBI),the base of administrative branch of India, provides the information relating to corruption in Central Government departments and Central Public Sector.

Eligibility for appearing CBI exam :-

1) Age :-Your's age must lie between :-

(a) 20 to 27 years for Assistant Grade & SIs in CBI
(b) 18 to 27 years for inspectors of CE/IT & Div. Acctts/Auditors/UDCs, etc.,
(c) 20 to 25 years for SIs in CPOs on the first day of the August of the year of Examination.
The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of SC,ST,OBC.
