Re: Process to join Indian Air Force as a Pilot after B.Tech
It is very good to see that you are interested in joining the Indian Air Force and to serve your country .
Since you are a B.tech candidates and you are interested in joining the force as Pilot the bets will be the - * AFCAT - It stands for Air Force Common Admission Test and the examination . It is conducted twice in a year . There are two papers in the written examination paper for it . It is not mandatory to qualify in both the paper to join but still you have to qualify in paper I for groundwork in Air Force . * AFSSB -After qualifying in the written examination you are called for the service selection board there all the test o personality are checked and finally selected students are selected for the training . You have all an opportunity to join Air Force through the CDS examination conducted by UPSC for all the defense wings . It is also conducted in - *Written . * SSB . So qualify in these examination and make your dream come true . |

Re: Process to join Indian Air Force as a Pilot after B.Tech
The best to join Air Force is through AFCAT ( Air Force Common Admission Test ) entry which is conducted twice in a year . AFCAT I has already passed and results are also declared . The cut off marks is 126 .
It is conducted in two phases - * Written . * AFSSB . The written paper is conducted as two paper it is not necessary that the candidates have to qualify in both the paper . The candidates who qualify in paper I are also eligible for ground work . Those candidates who qualify in the written papers are called for the AFSSB . * The other option available is through CDS examination which is also conducted twice in a year by UPSC but in this you are free to join any of the wing whether Army , Air Force or Navy . |
