Re: Qualification required to become a Pilot? Which course should be taken?
There are two ways and two categories of Pilot. One is a government and another one is commercial.
- You can become pilot in Indian Air Force by appearing in NDA (National Defence Academy) Examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) after having completed your class 12th. - NDA examination will have 3 subjects i.e Mathematics, English, General Science and General Knowledge. After clearing the written examination you have to appear in the SSB (Service Selection Board) interview and then DME (Detail Medical Examination) as this post carries very high medical standards. -You can become commercial pilot by applying in the aviation courses conducted by various institutes in India and abroad. You have to obtain licence once you completed your course. You will be given domestic flights first. |
