Candidates can apply for both clerk and PO posts through IBPS. The lower qualification for clerical post is 10th class with 60% marks. Those candidates who have done their diploma or 12th class can also apply for the same. 60% marks is needed in this level. 28 years is the higher age limit for clerks. Graduates can apply for PO. Higher age limit for PO is 30 years.

Hi

You have not mentioned which IBPS Post you wish to apply for. As you may know IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) it selects candidates for the jobs in banks i.e top 20 public sector banks.

There are 3 entries :-
Clerk
Probationary Officers
Specialists Officers

For the above 2, the educational qualification needed is you should be a minimum graduate in any stream from a recognized college with over 55% aggregate in it. Age within 21-28 years. No relaxations in them for the GEN.

But for the Specialist officers there are some experience which is needed at times and it is usually not for freshers. However there are many times that due to vacancies there are freshers who are also recruited under it. Recently the IBPS SO recruitment application was closed on 28 Jan 2013. Now if you wish to apply for any other post, then Click Here

This way you would visit the IBPS Website and then get latest updates about its notifications and so you can apply accordingly.

Hope this helps
All the best
