After completing your 12th you can go for National Defence Academy Exam in the order to become a Pilot. ==> Required qualification: 1. For Army Wing of NDA :: You should pass class 12th of the 10+2 pattern of school Education, or equivalent. 2. For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at Naval Academy :: You should pass 12th Class with Physics and Mathematics, or equivalent ==> Age-limits * Your age must be in between 16-1/2 - 19 Years ==> Written Examination paper pattern is as following:

There are many opportunities for you to join Air Force. You can join Air force before graduation as well as after graduation. Before Graduation: You can join Air Force through NDA Exam that is commenced every year by UPSC twice in a year. ELIGIBILITY for NDA Exam >> You must have your age between 16.5 to 19 years. >> Only Unmarried Male Candidates can apply for this exam. >> You must be 10+2 passed or appearing with PCM as your primary subjects. Upcoming NDA-II Exam will be commenced on 27 September, 2015. Last Date to apply for NDA-II Exam was 17 July, 2015. After Graduation: You can join Air Force through CDS and AFCAT Exam. ELIGIBILITY for CDS Exam >> You should have attained the age of 19 years and must have not attained the age of 23 years. >> You must have Bachelor's degree from any recognized Institution. >> Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination. Upcoming CDS-II Exam will be commenced on 1 November, 2015. Last Date to apply for CDS-II Exam was 14 August, 2015. ELIGIBILITY for AFCAT Exam You can join in Flying Branch, Technical Branch or Ground Duty Branch. FLYING BRANCH: >> Graduation in B.E./B.Tech >> Physics and Mathematics in 10+2 with minimum 60% marks in each subject. >> Age: 19-23 years. TECHNICAL BRANCH: >> Graduation in B.E./B.Tech through Aeronautical Engineering Branch >> Age: 18-28 years. GROUND DUTY BRANCH: >> For Graduates: Age Limit is 20-23 years. >> For Post Graduates/LLB (Five years integrated course): Age Limit is 20-25 years. >> For LLB (Three years course after Graduation): Age Limit is 20 to 26 years. >> For M.Ed/Ph.D/CA/ICWA: Age Limit is 20 to 27 years. AFCAT Exam was recently commenced on 22 February 2015. |
