Scope of girls in IAF as a flying officer? Which entrance should be appeared after 12th and what are the degrees required?
Respected sir/mam,
i m doing my 12th with pcm..i want to know about the scope for girls in iaf as a flying officer,and what enterance should i appear after my 12th and what degress are required? thank you |

Dear Friend
There is very less scope of employment of female candidates in Indian Air Force. IAF doesn't recruit 12th passed female candidates at all. You can get a job in IAF in Flying branch as a Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission with Term of Engagement of 14 Years with no further extension The eligibility criteria for this, is as under; Age 19 to 23 years Marital Status Single Gender Both men and women. Educational Qualifications 60% marks in Graduation (any discipline) and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level OR B.E. / B.Tech. with minimum 60% marks. The notification for this exam is published generally in December & June in Employment News. Direct Entry scheme for Entry in Technical Branch Post: Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics/Mechanical) The eligibility criteria for this, is as under; Age 18 to 28 years for married candidates 18 to 25 years for unmarried candidates Gender Both men and women. Educational Qualifications 60% marks in B.E.
