Hai friend,
Production engineering is indeed one of the best courses. In today's environment "Cost and Speed to Market" are two important criteria to survive. If you are strong enough in your field you will be absorbed by various industries such as:- *L&T integrated engineering services *FMCG CO in Ahmedabad *various public as well as private sectors These are for reference, you can also try for jobs abroad where you have a wider scope to study as well as earn. Some of the countries offering courses in this field are: Sweden, germany and many other European countries.. The future of Production engineering is very bright. The salary depends on your potential and increases with experience.... You need to be strong in the concepts and do well.... Feel free to ask any more queries here,we are there to help you at any time......... "All the best" Dhivya.R |

hi,
Dear friend first you should try for colleges which offer you the course in which you are interested because your rank is very good infact excellent......... If you want to know about production engineer then it is here- It deals with integrated design and efficient planning of the entire manufacturing system, which is becoming increasingly complex with the emergence of sophisticated, production methods and control systems. Job and Scope: Opportunities are available in public and private sector manufacturing organizations engaged in implementation, development and management of new production Process, information and control systems and computer controlled inspection, assembly and handling. First decide the field you are interested in most and then search for the best/top college for your course and last is check your eligiblity in that college like whether you will get admission with your current score/ranking or not...... Thank you... |

Production engg is best branch but,
Plz go for mech engg not for production engg. If. u don't get mech branch then only try prod engg. Many govt and PSU don't consider prod people. |

But it does not make u a MBAian or an ENGINEER. YOur four valuable years will e lost if u r goin' to choose production engineering.. For eg., the jobs u get after studiying production engineering are regulating manufacturing of kitchen articles, toilet articles, etc... Only regulating.. Sorry, but the truth is for freshers or experinced ones salary is going to be around Rs.6,000 a month. both in an out india. |
