Should I appear for Group I preliminary exam while doing final year engineering?


i am doing my final year engineering shall i appear for the group1 preliminary exam before getting my degree certificate as like in upsc exam or the degree certificate is must for appearing the preliminary exam? please respond me am under confusion mam....

Yes you are eligible for the examination if you are a final year students and has given your examination .
The eligibility criteria for giving application for the civil services examination according to the UPSC are:-
Those candidates who have passed the graduation or the candidate who are pursuing in the final year are eligible .
The degree must be from s recognised university .
The age of candidates must be :-
21-30 years for General category.
21-33 years for OBC candidates.
21-35 years for SC/ST candidates.

Since you are waiting for the result you are eligible. But it is essential to present the degree if you qualifies in the examination .

So now you can apply for the examination .
