i am non medical student and i want to do something rather than engg.
what are other field for which i can opt???????

There are lots of oppurtuity for youother then engineering.

You can go for following courses,other which have good career prospect :-

If you are a Physics lover,followings will best suites you:

Msc. or p.hd. in Nuclearphysics (Demand in all over thr world including India also) ,Astrophysics (NASA absorbs Astrophysicists),astronomy (Galileo was an astronomer) ,metaphysics,electronics,radio,aerodynamics.

If you are a Maths lover,followings will best suites you:

M.sc. or p.hd.
Mathematics,Economics,Statistics,Applied mathematics(Newton,Einstein where Applied mathematicians),Applied physics.

If you are a chemistry lover,followings will best suites you:
M.sc or p.hd.
Chemistry,organic chemistry,biochemistry,Industrial chemistry and Chemical chemistry (holds good chances for getting job in mnc's).

you can opt for pharmacy with pcm.other courses are msc in physics,chemistry or maths.you can also do MBA.you can also prepare for cpt for CA.other proffession are ma,ba etc don't woory brother there are many many opportunities.

2)go to fashion technology

3)do journalism

4)join indian armed forces

5)join merchant navy.

you can do anything like b.com computers and then go for mba in iim

there many courses for which you can apply:
1)if you will not get the admission in IIT-JEE then you can go for diploma courses from the good institutions.they provide engineering courses also.
2)you can go for hotel management.
3)fashion designing
3)if you are intersted in maths then you can go for maths hon.and then you can apply for civil service examination.
i think today,whatever you will do,it has a good scope.just give your 100%.
you can go for BCA,BBA,LLB,jouranalism etc.
so,dont worry.

......try out for other courses for which you are eligible
like medical.....navy.......
can also do Phd.........

i think you are a sensible person i really appreciate your courage, i think you must for commerce field in that you can do the following :-

BCA
BMA
BHM
BBI
BBM
media and mass communication and many more

just go for it

if you dont clear the iit-jee exams then you may go for another courses like bca or bba. dont worried there are manny courses are availiable in our country. always do something better.

you go through journalism,indian armed forces,fashion technology,MBA...
if you are interested in literature...
then go through hons degree in JNU like university...
prepare your self for UPSC exams....
think in your conveniece...'

If you wont be able to crack IITJEE there are lots of other oppurtunities available for you.

your life does not start or end at IIT JEE.so not worry so much if you do not clear IIT.give it one more chance if you are sure taht you can take it ar try something else.

Dear friend.
No one is incapable of doing anything. IIT-JEE is not a big deal. It can be summarised as one year complete study of only three subjects of only 11th and 12th std. People has made it so hype that student get distracted from their ncert books. These days IIT questions are so easy that if you thoroughly study only ncert books, there is no doubt in making it done.

However, if you are not interested in engineering then there are hundreds of professional courses. I am listing some of them

Commerce
Economics
Macc Communication
journalism
Biotechnology
Commercial Pilot course
Forensic Science and criminology
Fashion technology
Business admin
Food processing
Language courses like french, german, russian, spanish etc have good job oppotunity.
Cinematography
Animation and graphics
Apart from that if you get good ideas you can have your own business thats really a lot of fun

hello everyone! this is priya.
i cleared my 12th this year but failed in IIT.
IIT is my dream . i want to take coaching for IIT 2011.
but my seniors who scored 95%, 94% went for coaching and dint made through iits.
iam scared now what should i do now.... what if i also failed again in 2011 afterall it is my last chance.....

if you have given first time IITJEE then
drop for a year and work hard for it .
we all know about IITs standard or
you can get admission to good colleges
by clearing AIEEE with good rank.
it will be better if you join a coaching classes like
FIITJEE,NARAYANA ,BANSAL and many others
which provide study material and class room program
to crack IIT or AIEEE.
you must have your basic concept clear for
Physics,Chemistry & mathematics to crack IIT or AIEEE.

4.ICWA etc.............

you can also prepare for one more year for the preparation of the IIT otherwise go for tyhe above mentioned courses ,these will be benificial for you.All the best

if you have interest in technical field then go for BCA,after that you can do MCA, which has a higher prospect in future..
