Basis of cutoff marks calculation in IIT-JEE? Cutoff required to clear IIT-JEE?
Is, in IIT-JEE entrance exam.,we should clear cutoff in paper-1 and paper-2 seperately or totally?

hello
now in IIT JEE paper they only consider total marks .so no need to worry if you have got less marks in one paper you can do good in other one .they will only see your total marks not individual paper . i think its a good decision which education minister took . |

the total cut-off is estimated . If your marks are 170-185, your rank will be about 8000. Above 290 marks, you will get rank below 500. |

hello i am an sechudled cast student and i writtem my jee 2011 exam. i got 23 marks in physics in paper-1 and in paper-2 34 total 57 marks in physics. and in all individual papers i got 33 marks so plzz tell me weather i am eligible for iit or not plz reply to my id. my id is [email protected] as soon as possible

I think this year there will be no cutt-off marks for separate papers .
only total marks will be consider for your Rank calculation. but in previous year there was seperate cutt-of for each and every subject like in Physics- 30-40 marks; Math 20-28; Chemistry 35-45; |

their is no seperate cut off marks in paper 1 nd 2 it is for both papers but it has individual subject cutoff 35 % for maths nd chemistry 30% for physics for oc nd it is less for bc nd sc

we have 56.8% total marks by UP Board Allahabad UP & mine PCM marks is 56% we can appear in IIT entrance exam 2013.
