UPSC comprises of three sections Preliminary Examination which covers objective type questions, Mains which is subjective type questions and personal interview questions. For eligibility part, aspirant’s age limit should be between 19 to 40 years. Relaxation is also given for SC/ST candidates of 2 years as per the government norms. Also candidate should be Indian and must possess a graduation degree in Mathematics, statistics, Geology, natural science, civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, economics, Chemical Engineering.

Civil Services Exam is one of the popular exam being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) that have huge competition among the candidates.
The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to apply for this exam is by completion of Graduation with any of the stream. So,you have plenty of time in your hands to prepare for this exam. Make most out of this time. The complete selection procedure would involve Civil Services Aptitude Test Civil Services Main Exam Interview CSAT Exam will be conducted on the following areas General English Current Affairs Aptitude Where as Civil Services Main Exam will be there on the basis of optional subject that you are going to select. In the list of optional subjects there are the subjects which are relevant to all the areas like Commerce field Economics Commerce Life Sciences field Botany Zoology Technical fields like Physics Engineering fields like Electrical Engineering Civil Engineering etc. So, one thing I want to suggest you is that whatever the stream that you are going to opt for at your academic levels, make sure that in the subject that are there in your stream, please ensure that there should be one subject of above mentioned.
