I am a 12th Science student from Kerala. I Am interested in Software Engineering. After my +12 which course I should take to become Software Engineer.

After completion of intermediate standard, you have to apply for JEE entrance exam. This entrance exam will helps you to get admission in best engineering institute as per your knowledge.
The best engineering stream to be an Software engineer is "Computer Science Engineering". During your course, you should learn various computer languages like C, C++ etc. This will enhance the value of your C.V.
After completion of your bachelor's degree, you should apply for GATE exam. Through this exam, you will be able to apply for a job in various public sector undertakings.
