Since, your aim is to become piolot, you must do aeronautical engineering after 12th class.

To join in Indian Air Force is a good option and there are eligibility criteria's which are needed to be satisfied such as : -> Nationality -> Age limit -> Martial status -> Physical standard -> Educational qualification After completing 10th, the stream which you need to opt in order to join in Indian Air Force is that you should have finish your respected +2 in science stream with physics and mathematics as subjects. This is as per the minimum educational qualification which is needed for joining in Indian Air Force. There are many entrance exams which are conducted for candidates to join in defence, but with minimum qualification you can write the NDA Exam which offers candidates to join in defence forces. The other criteria's include such as Nationality in India, and a unmarried male candidate. The age limit needed is 16 1/2- 19 1/2 years. Apart from all these the candidate need to be physically fit. Re: Which streams can I choose after completing class 10th in India having an aim as to become a pilot?
# It is good to know that you want to become a pilot.
# As there is no any specialised stream at this stage. You can choose any stream upto intermediate level. # After intermediate, either you have to go for aeronautical course or for applying to NDA Examination or for applying to AFA (through CDS Examination). # But it is in interest of the candidate to opt subjects Mathematics and Physics in 10+2 level. # If you have opted PCM stream in 10+2 level as well as in graduation level, then still you have the option to apply for Air Force Academy (AFA) through Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination. # Another option is go for National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination after 10+2 in any stream in order to join Indian Air Force. # Another option is go for aeronautical course after 10+2 and become the commercial pilot. |

Well friend as you want to become a pilot then after 10th you should complete your 12th with physics chemistry and mathematics and after that you can appear for nda entrance exam to become pilot in airforce.
NDA exam is conducted twice in a year by upsc.for that you should have passed 12th with minimum 60% marks and the age limit for this exam is 16.5-19 years. Thank you |
