Are students with Tattoo allowed for CDS?
Is tattoo a setback for cds?...please tell me if the students are allowed

A candidate who satisfies all these criteria is eligible for applying. Regarding tattoos, if you have a permanent body tattoo they are only permitted on inner face of forearm. If it is the case that you have a permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body, then you are not accepted and will be barred from further selection. No, candidate not allowed with Tattoo for CDS.
You can't clear CDS exam if you have tatoo on your hand as tatoo is not permitted on any part of the body in clearing CDS exam. The Indian Army will not recruit men with permanent tattoos anywhere on the body, save the arms. The Army says permanent tattoos are health hazard, as they can act as carriers for certain diseases. |

According to CDS Physical Standards-
> There is NO directly restrictions on tattoo. > But there is one point that clearly mentioned in physical standard of CDS under other physical ailment category . - "Any disease of skin which is likely to cause disability or disfigurement will also be a cause for rejection." >Tattoo sometimes considered as a cause of skin infection. |
