Which subject should be chosen as optional one for IAS by a chemical engineering student?

I am doing B.E.in chemical engineering from pune university. I am highly interested in civil services exams but I am confused about the optional subjects. I want to know which subjects I should take. And how many subjects we have to take from optional subjects?

Nice to see that to join Indian Administration Service.

The candidate have to select two optional subjects for UPSC Main examination.

There is 25 optional subjects for Main examination. The candidate can select any one of two optional subjects in the list. I am list out the optional subjects in Main examination.

UPSC Main (Options Subjects ) :-
-------------------------------
-Agriculture
-Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
-Anthropology
-Botany
-Chemistry
-Civil Engineering
-Commerce & Accountancy
-Economics
-Geography
-Geology
-Indian History
-Management
-Mathematics
-Mechanical Engineering
-Medical Science
-philosophy
-Physics
-Political Science & International Relations
-Psychology
-Sociology
-Statistics
-Zoology

So,the candidate can select any two of optional subjects from the list but some condition apply for Optional Subjects. That means the candidate don't select these combinations , they are :-

-Commerce and Management
-anthropology and Sociology
-Maths and Statistics
-Political Science & International Relations and Public Administration
-Agricultural and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
-Management and Public Administration
-Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science and Medical Science
