i have an offer from TCS and MAQ software...and i am confused which 1 should i choose!
MAQ is offering higher package than TCS
i dont want to go with a company just because of higher package

It totally depends on your choice and willingness on which company you want to join.

TCS may offer less package initially but it will definitely increase your salary if it sees progress in your work.TCS is also existing in the software field from a long time and it is a very famous and well set-up company.

MAQ can also increase your salary in future if you work good.

Hence it lies on your choice on which company you want to go for.

I am interested in IT field I am completed my B.SC(Cs) from 2006-10 third year fail in 2009 passed in 2010 percentage is 58% and intermediate 78% and S.S.C 81% How can i get job in big like wipro software company or any middle level company

You are correct decision should not be taken only on the basis of the pay package. You can take a decision based on job profile offered. This is important as you must choose the one based on your interest. You have to be careful in this as once you gain experience in an area it will be difficult to switch over to another area. In terms of reputation in India TCS has more value.

tcs is best in recession times. because their clients are from all over the world.

but most companies are focusing only USA. so only they suffered in recession times, and many fired.

It depends on what you are expecting from your company.
With TCS you will get a you will get a good corporate exposure, better company standards and better job security.
With MAQ you might not get all of the above but due to it being a smaller scale company you will get better and faster recognition for your work and a lot more to learn.

Its a standard debate between a big corporate giant vs small agile company.
Its upto you to decide if you want to race with 10000 people or 50, your chances of being notices in the latter is higher.

according to me TCS is better than MAQ software. It is a multinational company. It has more reputation in India and abroad. It will give you more global exposure. Your pay package will defintely increase after some time. You have more chances of going to foreign.

So join TCS.

actually i got the mail 12th aug my interview fixed so plzzzzzzzzzz help me any one plz post the maq placement papers.

friend though it will be unfair to call a company better or worse but one thing i can share is that tcs is the largest IT company in india as per revenue earned as well as the no. of employees hence tcs may seem a good option but maq software is also a reputed it company hence its upto u to prefer from the above two.

You need to see your career goals and then decide on the company. If you are looking at faster growth and exposure to latest technologies, then MAQ Software may provide better options than TCS. Smaller companies are more agile and flexible. Also, you have additional opportunities to grow, are stronger technically and get better project and client exposure. You may get it in other larger companies but this will take time. I strongly recommend to build a strong foundation and the first 3-4 years of your career are very important. Go for a company that provides good technical exposure and growth. I know MAQ provides this for sure.

MAQ is worst in terms for work culture and growth. If you are a freshee and want to stick around for a year and learn few stuff, then MAQ is OK. TCS is any time better than MAQ.
MAQ is like a Proprietorship company. Will treat you like a donkey.

Don't confuse like this you can easily find your answer yourself.ask yourself that in which company you can feel good and you can work with comfortable.Doesn't matter here that company is small or big,giving high packages or low packages, see only whether you are comfortable here or not ,you are interested or not .then problem will be solved.

Yes my friend you are thinking right.You decided that you did not want to go with a company just because of higher salary. I think you are right. Both T.C.S. and M.A.Q. are good company. But there is a little bit job security in T.C.S. compared to M.A.Q..

Another thing is that as you are fresher then TCS will be your best option for you. Once you shine in TCS then you can easily change your company when you have more than 2-5 years experience.

Besides this , I also mention that if you the quality then don't be narrow minded. Always think higher and higher.

Always go for TCS..... MAQ Software is the most disgusting and pathetic company to work for. You will never be credited for your work. No matter how much you do for the company, you will never be recognized.

You will also not learn much in this company as they work on such technologies which are not used anywhere else. So after 1 or 2 years of experience when you leave the company, you will have no where to go.

The way mangers treat you is pathetic and Rajeev Agarwal - the founder and CEO of company doesn't even know how to talk to employees. He will always scold you for the faults that you have not done.

Take my advice - never go for MAQ software. I was an ex-employee of this company and all the employees have hard time in this company.

MAQ is good company in terms of learning technical things in short span of time.. so you are kind of under a lil pressure but thats enjoyable..
but agree with the point that you will learn technologies which are maybe not used elsewhere.. coz they use Win 8.1 while others still using XP
