after completing btech if you still have interest in technical research side means you can go for mtech or if you are interested in management side means you can go for mba

Re: Which of them is better after btech - M.tech or MBA?
actually you have to select it with your own interest.
m.tech requires great deal of hard work and d institutes are probably less than that of mba. no doubt mba will fetch you more money with comparatively less efforts. good luck |

i also suggest you go through MTECH...
this is best for you ... because if you do MBA then your engineering degree will have not so much importance .... so it will be better to do M TECH prepare for gate exam and score well(90+) percentile .. good luck.. |

it is always advisable to go for m.tech after b.tech..... so go for masters in computer ......as you have done bachelors in computer field only..... it will be a lot simpler if you go for comp...as you will be having a strong base in computers.... best of luck |

hey friend i will suggest you to go for M.tech after doing B.tech as you will be studying the same concepts but with more explanation which you have studied in B.tech course.....you will be find it easy as you have studied it earlier also.........
but if you go for MBA then you will be facing more problem as you will be studying complete new concepts relating to commerce.............. still the choice is yours........go for that in which you have more interest...... |

Why are you so confused, you have to decide your aim that if you want to go in engineering field then you must go for M.Tech that will help you in getting a better rank and post in the same line. However, if you are more interested in working in the management aspect of companies rather than engineering line, you should go for the MBA degree. MBA will enable you to work from the management front where you can manage the resources for the benefits of various aspects of the business. Please if you are little interested in engineering feild then please pl......... go for M.Tech. Any one not force any budy because future is in your hand. GOOD LUCK |

Re: Which of them is better after btech - M.tech or MBA?
Best will be go for your choice. Do go for the course for which you are getting forced. If you like to do MBA then go for it without any thought. Just prepare hard for CAT and try to get admission in the top IIMs
BTech and MTech is also fine but if you dont like it then i dont recommend you to join it. Cheers |

Re: Which of them is better after btech - M.tech or MBA?
dear friend
It is not the question of which is better. It is the question of your interest. My suggestion is don't go blindly to any course on the basis of others' suggestions. you decide in which field you want to make your career. If you are more interested in technical field and doing researches, then you should go for M.Tech. but you are more interested in the corporate business then you should go for MBA. You first think of your interests & then take decision because it is the matter of your life........... ok all the best. |

Hi Friend, I would suggest you to complete your M-tech since it is your field i am confident that you can do really well in that. Also MBA would equip you with the Managerial skill only, and the domain knowlegde of M tech would take you futher in your carear. If you want to do MBA also you can purse correspondence MBA Course from any University you like. Best of Luck |

give both the gate and the cat exam with your tremendous effort, gate in the end of 3rd year and cat at the end of 4th year ,since i hv heard it's possible to give gate xams in the end of 3rd year ,then see in which u hv got gud result ,and also consider whether u hv passion for money or work with a little less money, therfore either mba or mtech.

hello dear
you see, if you are interested to work with your field then you must do mtech. specially if you want to do research oriented jobs, then MTech is compulsary. but if you are not interested to work in your engineering field, then it is essential to do MBA. but one things you shoud remember, for getting promotion in company, MBA is essentially required. all the best........ |

Dear Friend,
As you are a student of technical line (B.Tech) I will suggest you to go for M.Tech if you complete the M.Tech course, then your knowledge as well as experience will be enhanced. if you choose MBA I think it may be wrong for you, because it is the business or managemental line. However,it is your own choice where will you go .. Good luck. |

Dear friend,
both the options are good for you after b.tech.but i will suggest you to go for m.tech since you are a b.tech in civil engineering and its a core branch and if you do m.tech in that wide options will be available for you in goverment jobs.but the other option is also very good.but again it totally depends on your interest. Wish You All The Best!!! |

Re: Which of them is better after btech - M.tech or MBA?
dear friend,
You from technical background then always Mtech is the better option for you.. MBA is totally different from your field , it is business field. Mtech is a technical field, so after Btech , Mtech is the better option.. but i will suggest you to go for that field in which you have lot of interest.. both are good, you can get a good job after completing any of these two.. all the best.. |

dear friend
first decide in which field you want to go. both the MBA and M.TECH has very good scope in future. m.tech will take you to technical field further. but MBA is a field related to business. so it depends on you in which line you want to go. don't think about your brother's suggestion think that what you really want. all the best. |

Re: Which of them is better after btech - M.tech or MBA?
Hello frinds i know i m goin a little off topic but i am also in the same dialema as of sudheer
I have completed my btech in civil engineering and am confused between Mtech in structures or MBA in finance. I am in field of civil engineering for past 2 years and my opinion is that to get value in civil engineering firm is by gaining more and more experience initial its not that high but high experience is the only way you can earn more. But lets face it demand of civil engineer is getting less so if i spent 2 years for my Mtech and then good income is only expected after 2-4 yrs of experience from reputed firm. But all in the field is saying that infra will degrade tremendously in next 8-10 years (as effect is already seen in middle east). If that gets true then our super specialization will not fetch us good salary. Ultimately my point is that can anyone suggest that which is more stable job for me being a Structural engineering or being an MBA in finance. Please help me and do let me know your point of view on my present situation? Thanx in advance. |
