Is there any central lateral entry test for diploma engineering students?


I have completed diploma in mechanical engineering (3 years course). Is there any lateral entry exam which is conducted by central government? Can you please guide me with the required details as soon as possible? Thank you!

No, there is no central lateral entry test conducted for candidates who have passed Diploma course. The lateral entry examinations are conducted by the respective state technical board of education for offering lateral entry admission in Engineering course. Candidates who have passed three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course are eligible to apply for lateral entry test for pursuing Engineering course.
