you can give ies exam. it is an exam conducted by upsc for engineers. it is a very difficult exam but once you get selected, you will get a very good government job. other government jobs comes in employment news. so you must check that properly.

nearly in all psu's which offer jobs for machanical engineers

if u want to work in ur core field ,u better to choose design department(like pro-e,catia like this) is quite better

hi, presently i am std my BTECH 4th year mechanical branch ,Presently mechanical engg are having good career either you are girl or boy the job opp will be equal ,Acc to govt jobs we ard having BHEL,NTPC,NPICL,RAILWAY,DRDO,OIL INDST,VIZAG STEEL PLANT.etc. Coming to private sector we are opp on private companies also .But you need to be above 60% everyone plz read carefuly because now i am knowing the valu of 60%.

I ahve 1 year 8 montg exp in mando break. There i was worked in pdi and assembly section then i left over there, than i joind multimedia as a 3d division lightig artis now i have 5 years exp inthat field.

what is the minimum percentage in the b.tech mech. branch to qualify the core company of M.E.

There are many government jobs for mechanical
1. PSUs (Public sector unit)- IOCL, ONGC, GAIL, BHEL ,HAL, NTPC etc.
2. UPSC ESE- Engineering services exam conducted by upsc every year for the recruitment of the post for grade A level officer.
For all these jobs the minimum cgpa required in btech is 6.0 cgpa

There is no as such criteria of minimum percentage in btech for core private company but yes they do prioritize candidates on the basic of their marks so, anything above 7.5 cgpa is good.
