What is the admission procedure of Military School?
Respected Sir,
I am a student of class 10th. I want to know the admission process of Military School. I am interested in getting admission in it after I complete 10th class. So, kindly provide me with all the required details for getting admission. Thanking you in anticipation. Yours faithfully, Swati Choubey. |

Admission to class XI in military school is based on the marks obtained in class X board and the criteria to allot stream is also based on the marks or grade you obtained in your class X.You have to qualify the entrance examinations for admissions.
As per my knowledge if you qualify in written Test you will have to undergo Physical and Medical Test followed by Personal Interview. Interview is taken just to check the ,confidence,general awareness,adjustibility etc .. of the candidate. |

Boys are admitted strictly in
order of merit of all India Sainik school Entrance examination conducted all over india every year subject to medical fitness. The admission are made in class VI and IX. Detail information is as under: Eligibility For class VI-boys in the age group of 10 to 11 years as on 01 July of the year of admission. For class IX -boys in the age group of 13 to14 years as on July of the year of admission and studying at least in class VIII in a recognised school Availability of seats in each sinik school Class VI Approximately 70 Class IX Approximately 10 Reservation of seats 67% For boys domiciled of the state. 33% For domiciles of other states 15% & 7.5% For SC & ST 25% For sons of Defence personnel (including ex- servicemen) Entrance Examination For Class VI (Written Examination) Mathematical Knowledge 100 Language Ability Test 100 Intelligence Test 100 Interview 50 For Class IX (Written Examination) Mathematical Knowledge 200 English 100 Science 75 Social Science 75 Interview 50 PROMOTION : are given as per the rules framed by the board of governors, Sainik school which lays down that the minimum marks required for class promotion are 40% in each subject and 50% in aggregate and for becoming eligible for scholarship, a student is required to obtain 45% marks in each subject and 55% in aggregate. For readmission to class XI in science stream only, a boy has to get 50% marks each in Maths and science and 55% marks in aggregate in Maths and science taken together and 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects. |

i am student of class 9th and i want to take admission in 9th class in military school. can i apper in the entrance exam held on 15th december. is there any policy that student who had given the exam 1st time cannot apper second. what is the age limit of exam
