What is the best subject combination with civil engineering for IAS entrance exam.

Civil Services examination pattern:

>>Preliminary Examination: It consists of two papers out of which Paper I is General studied and paper two is of CSAT. CSAT is of qualifying nature, you need to score only 33%.

Depending upon your marks in General study, you will be eligible to write Mains exam, which is second stage of this exam. There is two compulsory language paper, one essay paper, four General studies paper and two optional paper from same subject.

Earlier there was two subject to choose for two optional papers and now you have to choose one optional subject and give two papers from it. You can choose only Civil Engineering for your exam. Last stage is interview.
