IPS stands for Indian Police Service which in conducted by UPSC Union Public Service Commission in yearly once....... Eligibility Criteria for IPS : - => you must complete your graduation from any recognised university => you are age between 21-30 years, relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per norms => you should be a citizen of India. IPS stands for Indian Police Service.To become IPS officer,you should fill the application form Civil Service exam.This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year once.Under civil service exam their are 23 service post they are,
>>Indian Administrative Service >>Indian Police Service >>Indian Revenue Service etc... To appear for Civil Service exam,you should have complete minimum graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 21 to 30 years. If you fulfill with this criteria,then you can fill this year civil service exam.Civil service exam consist of Preliminary exam,Main exam and Final Interview. Preliminary exam notification will release in the month of February and exam will held on May month every year.After clearing Preliminary exam,you will eligible for Main exam and interview. Hi,
IPS stands for Indian Police Service. This exam conducted by the union public service commission every year. Educational Requirements: The candidate should complete the graduation from any recognized university. The candidate no need any kind of marks percentage. The final pursuing candidates are also eligible for the civil service examination. Age limit: The minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years. And the age relaxation is applicable. And 3 years age relaxation for obc candidates and 5 years age relaxation for sc/st/ph candidates. Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible to become IPS officer. But the candidate should be citizen of india. The no of attempts for general category is 4 and 7 attempts for the obc candidates and no limit of attempts for sc/st candidates. To satisfy these all criteria you can apply for this exam. The selection procedure is in the three ways Preliminary exam Main exam Interview first you can go for the preliminary exam. In this exam there objective type questions is there you qualify this exam then next you can go for the main exam. This main exam you work hard to qualify because this exam pattern is different. To write essay writing questions. After qualify the main exam you can go for the interview. After qualify this interview you can become a IPS Officer. In this main exam there is two optional Subjects to select the candidate. DETIALS OF UPSC IPS EXAM:IPS exams are conducted by UPSC every year.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Educational Qualifications for IPS : Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Number of Attempts Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt. Physical fitness criteria for IPS- Height – Male 165 cm Pahari Male (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm Female 150 cm Pahari Female (general also) & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm. Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm. Eye sight – 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye. High standard for the Colour-blind test. No inherent night blindness. Vision should stereoscopic. Blood pressure (High) – Age 23 – 123, age 24 – 124, age 25 –122, age 28 – 124, age 30 –125, age 32 – 126, age 34 – 127. Ladies should not be pregnant at the time of Medical Test. Ear- good listening & normal ear cavity. 1000 to 4000 frequency hearing impairment shd not be more than 30 decibels. Nasal- candidate should not stammer while speaking.
