IPS/IAS exam called the civil services exam forms are generally out in month of december.

So keep yourself updated about it by ready local and national dailies.

You have to be a graduate in order to appear for the exam. You can even appear for the preliminary exam in the final year.

The application process is not at all complicated. You can buy the form from the nearby post office and then send it to the address

1.minimum qualification graduation in any subject, with 55% marks in graduation.

2.age limit 21-29.

Yes, your degree will be valid since it is under the UGC act.
So you eed not worry about it.
your college is autonmous and your dgree will be valid as it is under UGC act.

1. Preliminary exam- Civil Service Aptitude Test
2. Main Examination
3.Interview
Candidate have to qualify each stage to reach the next level.
The eligibility criteria for the exam are as follows
Candidate must be a graduate
Eligible age for the exam is between 21- 30 years (with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and OBC's is 3 years)

* Candidates should be the citizen of India
