Procedure to give IPS Officer Examination
Dear Sir / Madam,
I want to know the procedure for the IPS Officer examination , CET Test due dates for enrolling and addmission, subjects & fees ,contact number regarding the consulting person or institution . |

IPS/IAS exam called the civil services exam forms are generally out in month of december.
So keep yourself updated about it by ready local and national dailies. You have to be a graduate in order to appear for the exam. You can even appear for the preliminary exam in the final year. The application process is not at all complicated. You can buy the form from the nearby post office and then send it to the address Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, New Delhi-110011. All the best |

For IPS exams you have to appear for UPSC CSE exams which are conducted each years. The forms are generally available in november or thereafter and exams are held in may which is pre afte which mains are held and than interview.
The forms are available in the designated head post office of area once the examination schedule is declared |

these civel services are one of the toughest xams in india.. u have to good at ur G.k and have a good knloadge of news paper.. u can get the forn at ur G.P.O.. the xam is in december.. good luck. |

The simple procedure for IPS officer is to appear for UPSC civil service exam but to become an IPS is that much hard only means you need to make through preparation of this exam with whole heart and mind.

Qualifications requirement to sit for IPS exam is given below 1.minimum qualification graduation in any subject, with 55% marks in graduation. 2.age limit 21-29. so after completion of your graduation, you can give IPS Officer Examination. all the best......... |

You read the advertisement whose published by UPSC. Fill the application form with Rs 70/- IPO. Read all syllabus preliminary and final examination get preparing. If succeed you will become an IPS officer.

You can become IPS officer through writing and clearing UPSC Civil Services Examination. UPSC CS Prelims Exam form will be available from 19-2-2011 to 21-3-2011 and the form is easily available at GPO's. The cost of application form is Rs 20 only. For details please visit www.upsc.gov.in

To become IPS officer you need to give UPSC exam......conducted every year.
UPSC IPS EXAM Civil Services (Prel) Exam, 2011 Date of Notification: 19.02.2011 Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 21.03.2011 Date of Exam: 12.06.2011 Eligibility Criteria for IPS: Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. The selection procedure for IPS comprises of three stages for both boys and girls. 1. Preliminary exam- Civil Service Aptitude Test 2. Main Examination 3.Interview Candidate have to qualify each stage to reach the next level. I am glad that you are thinking about the IPS exam as it is one of the most prestigious thing. The minimum educational qualification required is to be a graduate. In order to appear for the IPS mains exam , you need to clear the CSAT i.e. civil services aptitude test conducted by the UPSC. Age limitation is between 21-30 years.
