IPS or the Indian Police Service is one of the most prestigious service

in India. The IPS is also an All India Service (AIS) so the person selected

for IPS may have to serve in any part of the country.

The submission of application form for IPS exam in this year is now over.

Indian Police Service (IPS) exam is conducted by UPSC in every year.

This exam is held in two stage preliminary exam and main exam.

Now you can appear in the next year exam.

Eligibility Criteria for IPS exam :

Educational Qualification :-

The minimum educational qualification for the appear in the IPS exam

is graduation in any stream from a recognize University. The final year

graduation student are also eligible for this exam.

Age Limit :-

The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appearing

in the examination. The SC,ST,OBC and PD candidates will get age

relaxation on the upper age according to government rule.

Exam date for RESERVED FOR UPSC is 08.01.2012 and CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAM., 2012 is 20.05.2012.
