Re: What is the maximum qualification required to join bank?
Your focus is clear that you want to pursue your career in Banking sector or financial sector. Let me tell you the banking sector is divided into 2 parts, 1 as Private Sector and other Public Sector.
For getting into Public Sector Banks i.e. SBI, PNB, BoB, BoI, etc you need to be a graduate from any discipline and then you need to appear in IBPS or SBI entrance exam which is generally of 3 stages : Preliminary, Mains, Interview and recruitment is done in 2 ways as Probationary Officer and Clerk. There is also another recruitment conducted by banks as Specialist Officers where candidates from the field of management, law, agriculture, IT, etc are invited to appear in 2 stage entrance exam i.e. Written Exam and Interview. Financial Institution like LIC, GIC, NICL, etc also conduct exams to fill AAO and Assistants. The entrance exam which is conducted is generally of 3 stages i.e. Preliminary, Mains and Interview. For Private Banks or Financial Institutions they conduct exam of their own may involve written test and interview or only interview, the qualification for candidates need to be high in case of application to private banks recruitment because the preference of such candidates are higher if compared to others. |
