No minimum age limit is specified by CBSE for appearing in JEE Main examination. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with PCM stream from a Government recognised board are eligible to apply for JEE Main examination. The maximum age limit to apply for JEE Main examination is 25 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules to apply for JEE Main examination.

JEE examination stands for 'Joint Entrance Examination'. Candidate must meet age criteria to apply JEE mains examination. The age criteria for appearing in JEE mains 2018 states that, students must be born on or after October 1, 1993. However, there is no minimum age criteria to appear in JEE mains examination.
If you belongs to SC/ST category, then a 5 years upper age relaxation will be given to you.

Yes, you are eligible to appear in JEE Main in 2018.

The eligibility to appear in it is that candidate must have passed or appearing in 12th from a recognised board.

There is no minimum age limit but maximum age limit is 25 years as on 1st October of year of appearing for examination.

So, you can apply for entrance examination to appear in JEE Main 2018.

-> The candidate who is going to attend the JEE main exam 2018.

-> D.O.B of the candidates who belongs to General/OBC should be 1st October. 1993.

-> For SC, ST, PWD age relaxation of 5 years is okay.

-> Candidates who are ready for the final exam 2018, can also eligible to apply before the last date.

-> Candidates who were failed in 2015 but passed in 2016 exam are not eligible.

-> The number of attempts for JEE Main is 3.
