Marks percentages required may vary with job profile. In most cases, 50% is the minimum marks percentage required. UG/PG degree is the eligibility for certain jobs. Some jobs give importance to professional skills rather than educational qualification. Detailed information on this can be collected from the concerned job notification.

Hello dear,

It will be lot more helpful if you specify a job which your looking for.

because this is about education and career I will be telling you only posts above 12th class in any govt. sector.

You may look up for any Govt. Job after 12th or even after graduation a minimum of 60% is compulsory. Except very few which also accept 50% marks like Banks, Army etc.

For SC/ST relaxation may be there upto 5% i.e. 55% will be minimum marks for them.

There are many types of Government jobs.
Each Government jobs require different qualifications and different age

Also minimum percentage of marks required to apply is different for different jobs.

Few Major and Common government jobs:

BANK PO- To apply just Graduation Pass. No minimum percentage is required

BANK Clerks-Graduation Pass. No minimum percentage is required

SSC Combined GRaduate Level exams-Graduation Pass. No minimum percentage is required

CDS (IMA and OTA)-Graduation Pass. No minimum percentage is required

UPSC CIVIL SERVICES Exams-Graduation Pass. No minimum percentage is required
