Limit on number of attempts for GATE Exam?

GATE(GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST IN ENGINEERING)



There is no limit for attempting GATE exam .You can apply as number of times for appearing GATE Entrance Exam .
Gate is a eligibility for pursuing M.TECH/M.E in post graduate
Gate Eligibility:
1)Bachelor Degree with holding (10+2) qualification.
2)Master Degree Holders can also apply for Gate Exam
3)Candidates who are 3 year or 5 years degree in Technical also can apply for Gate Entrance Exam
4)Students who are qualified from UPSC/AICTE who are equivalent to 4-year degree are also eligible for Gate Entrance Exam.

Gate Have age limit for who are in general category is allowed age 30 years .

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This examination is administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board.

In this year GATE Examination, 15 subject papers will be conducted by an ONLINE computer based test: AE, AG, AR, BT, CE, CH, CY, GG, MA, MN, MT, PH, TF, XE, and XL.

And Female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee, as required by MHRD, Govt. of India.

You need to register and fill the application form of GATE Examination ONLINE only, you have to visit the GATE ZONAL website and fill the online application form.

To apply for GATE Examination, you have to complete your 4 year degree course in engineering or completed your Post graduate degree course from a recognised University.

Final year candidates are eligible for GATE 2013 Examination. There is no restrictions in Number of Attempts to apply for GATE.

Last date of apply for this year GATE Examination is 30/Sep/2012.

Admit card can only be downloaded from the zonal GATE websites from 5th December 2012. So please apply for GATE Examination if you want to take admission in top colleges.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The candidate should have complete Graduation no Engineering with any stream from any recognized university.

Candidate who are pursuing final year of Graduation course in Engineering can also apply for this exam.

Candidate who are pursuing pre final year of Engineering course are not eligible to apply for this exam.

There is no age criteria to appear for this exam.

One can apply for this exam at any age if he fulfill the required academic Criteria.

The candidate there is no limit of the number of attempts for the Gate exam.

There is no restriction for number of attempts. you can apply number of time


But Normally,students prefer to write first time when they are in final year of graduation and later 2-3 times.
I feel when you complete graduation and then appear in the next year that is the most important attempt because ur preparation will be at peak.


Eligibility
-You should be in the final year of your engineering/technology or architecture or already having a degree


Note:-But if u qualify, GATE scorecard is only valid for 1 years from 2012 onword.

how many attempts can made a b.tech degree holder in gate exam

Dear friend,

According to GATE eligibility criteria, there is no such mentioned
rule about the no. of attempts. So, you can give the exam as many
times you want to improve your percentile and score.
Also the GATE score is valid for two years and you can apply with
the same score if you are appearing this time. As you are currently in
3rd year of your B.E. course, you will not be eligible to take admission
on the basis of your current score until you complete your B.E. degree.

I would like to suggest you to prepare well and to appear for the
examination next year. If you want to give the exam only to get experience
i would suggest you to solve the previous year papers and mock
test papers. You must appear for the exam only when you are fully
confident and prepared.

Does nobody here know english?

For eg. If I got qualified in gate 2014 then that score can be valid for how many years.. I mean til which for applying in any Psu... Exams.. Pls sir m in great confusion...pls...%uD83D%uDE1E
