As per my suggestion you can take admission in B.Tech course after completion of your 12th class. The duration of this course is four years. The admission of candidate will be done in Bachelor of technology engineering course on the basis of Entrance examination. You can appear in Joint Entrance examination to get admission in good government or NIT or IIT college. For getting admission in reputed college college you need to score good marks in the entrance examination. The name of best demand branch in engineering are given below.

For pursuing engineering to be an engineer you will have to pursue Bachelor of Technology / Engineering degree course which is a bachelor degree course of four years.

The basic educational qualification required by you for pursuing the same degree is higher secondary school degree with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects or any other equivalent degree course with at least 45% aggregate from a recognized university.

Also for pursuing the same degree course from a top colleges like IIT, IIIT, ISM, NIT and other private engineering colleges you will have to qualify entrance examination like JEE, State EEE, VITEEE, BITSAT, etc. .

For pursuing engineering i.e; Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology the minimum educational qualification required is a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subject with at least 45% marks from a recognized board.

Also for getting admission in CFTIs like IIT, NIT, ISM, etc., state government engineering colleges and other top private engineering colleges you will have to qualify entrance examination like JEE, State EEE, VITEEE, SRMEEE, etc..

Further to be eligible for admission in CFTIs your aggregate in Class 12th must be at least 75% if not the aggregate that keeps you lie within the top 20 percentile candidate of your respective board.

To pursue Engineering course after completion of your 12th standard with PCM stream from a Government recognised board, you have to appear in engineering entrance examinations like JEE, EAMCET, VITEEE, etc., and get qualified. Based on your examination rank in the entrance examination, you will be called for counselling process and you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in first year of Engineering course.

The most demanding branch in Engineering course is Computer Science Engineering. Candidates who are interested to become a Software Engineer generally opt this course. There are also many other branches in Engineering like Electronics, Mechanical, etc., which has good demand, so, I suggest you to pursue your engineering in the branch in which you are interested.
