what is the procedure of start preparation of upsc exam...please tell me te procedure

As an initial procedure, candidates must be aware about the pattern and structure of the exam so that the preparation can be adjusted on that basis. Candidates need to collect model question papers for study and practice for this exam. Also, there will be model exam papers given in different standard books which you can practice. Candidates should also try to gain good general knowledge through extra reading as this will be a separate section in this exam. Mock tests can be attended as a part of preparation. Note down important points by preparing notes which can be used for revision.
