Computer Science Engineers are eligible to apply for various Public Sector Undertakings. There are jobs specifically for the Computer Science Engineers in the Public Sector Undertakings which you can apply if meet the requirements.


PSU or the Public Sector Undertakings are the companies where government is the major stakeholder. These companies are completing controlled by the government of India. There are total of more than 150 Public Sector companies in India as for now.


These companies conducts entrance exam to recruit Engineering candidates. There is no common exam instead each company conducts a separate entrance exam. The notification of this exam is published on leading employment dailies and the official website of the PSU.


You will first have to wait for the official notification from the PSU. There are websites which let you subscribe fo the notification, whenever PSU release it, they will notify you through a email.


You will have to check whether there are openings for Computer Science Engineering in the notification. There is a mention of vacancies in each branch of Engineering. If there is a opening for CSE then you can apply for the PSU exam. However you should meet the following criteria:


Eligibility

1. Candidate should be citizen of India.

2. Must have a valid B.Tech degree from a recognized university.

3. A minimum of 60 percent marks in B.Tech.

4. There should be no pending backlogs.

5. The age limit for the exam is 21 to 30 years.

6. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.

7. SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation.


It is also recommended to appear for GATE exam since some PSUs ask for GATE score instead of written exam.
