NDA : NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

NDA i.e. National Defence Academy is one of the defence academy through which on can join following defence services namely as...

-Indian Army
-Indian Navy
-Indian Air Force

To join any of them, you have to appear in NDA recruitment exam conducted by UPSC twice in a year in the form of NDA I & NDAII.
UPSC:- Union Public Service Commission.


ELIGIBILITY for NDA Exam:

• You should be 12th passed in any stream from recognized school/university.
  
• You have to pass 12th standard in Science(PCM) stream if you wish to join Indian Air Force or Navy.
  
• Candidates appearing/appeared in 12th standard can also apply for NDA Exam.
  
• For NDA, Your Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years. No relaxation in Age for any category candidates.
  
• You should be Unmarried & Male person.
  
• You must have an Indian citizenship

PHYSICAL FITNESS criteria for NDA:

To join NDA you should be Physically & Mentally & must not have any Physical disabilities. Below is the Physical Standard necessary for NDA.

Pattern of NDA Written Examination

the eligible criteria for nda is 12th pass with pcm and min 55% for general

NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC two times every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA.

QUALIFICATION CRITERIA FOR NDA:-

-The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male.
-Should have either appear for the final 12th exam in any stream or pass from a recognised Board.
-Should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years. There is no upeer age relaxation for reserved candidate.
-The candidate should have possessed a good Physical and Mental health and accordingly should be fit.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

NDA-NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADOMY

eligibility:-

1. Age limits, sex and marital status:

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible

2. Educational qualifications:

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 cadet entry scheme of the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or a university

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination


3. Physical standards: Candidate must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination.

Examination pattern -

Mathematics 01 - 2-½ Hours - 300 Marks

General Ability Test 02 - 2-½ Hours - 600 Marks

Total - 900 Marks.
