If you mean the IAF as Indian Air Force then there are few options available after 10+2 or graduation. The eligibility criteria is different for them.

On the basis of 10+2 you have to go through the NDA ( National Defence Academy) entrance examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
Candidates pursuing 10+2 from a recognized board or even passed candidates and their age between 16.5-19 years are eligible. It is mandatory to have Physics and Mathematics as main subjects in +2. Only male candidates are eligible. The examination is conducted in two stages as Written and SSB.

If you have completed your graduation you can go through the CDS examination which is also conducted by UPSC twice in a year and there are also two stages of selection procedure. It is mandatory to have graduation from a recognized university in Physics or Mathematics and B.tech candidates of any discipline are eligible. Foe IAF candidates age must be 19-23 years.

If you have completed your graduation in any discipline of B.tech you can also go for AFCAT.

I.A.F stand for Indian Air Force. As you have not mentioned your present educational qualifications so it is difficult to give exact information for you to join the I.A.F.

But generally if you want to join the Indian Air force there are application available in the 12th and graduation level. On 12th you can go for the NDA entrance examination. The eligibility criteria for the examination is candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as main subjects. Age of candidates must be 16.5-19 years. The examination is conducted in written as well as SSB. Candidates have to qualify in the written to qualify for the SSB.

The another option is for graduation candidates who have passed the graduation in Physics and Mathematics or in any of the engineering stream can apply. The examination is known as CDS. Candidates age must be between 19-23 years.

Above both the examination are conducted by UPSC twice in a year. And in both the examination you have to first go through the written and if you qualify you are called for the SSB.

AFCAT also provides you an opportunity if you are in the final year of B.tech or passed from a recognized university.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
