Re: Required Qualification to become an IPS Officer?
In order to become IPS Officer, one should have to crack civil services examination.
The complete selection procedure will be by -CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) -Civil Services Main Examination -Interview The candidate has to qualify in CSAT Exam and then have to take main exam in the two optional subjects which the candidate selects while registering for the civil services exam. Here is the complete eligibility criteria for civil services examination. Academic Qualification : -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. -Candidates who have appeared for final year exams of Graduation course can also apply for this exam. But they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview.
