what are the required qualifications for IAF....could u please tell me what is teh requirement

The qualification required for various jobs/services in Indian Air Force are as under.

Group 'X' (Technical Trades)

Pass in 12th or equivalent with Maths & Physics with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate.
or
Pass in 3 year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/
Automobile/Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology)
with at least 50% marks from a Govt. recognized Polytechnic Institute.

Group 'Y' (Technical Trades)

12th pass with science, arts, commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with
minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
Only the Vocational courses conducted by CBSE and Kerala Board which are
recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) are eligible.

Age limit : 17-22 years for both Group 'X' (Technical Trades) and Group 'Y' (Technical Trades).

Officer Grade Entry Schemes

NDA

Pass in 12th or equivalent with Maths & Physics.

CDSE

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university
(with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level)
or BE / B Tech.

National Cadet Corps Special Entry

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university
(with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) with at least 60% marks in aggregate
or BE / B. Tech. with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
and
NCC Air Wing Senior Division 'C' certificate.

Pilot Entry through Short Service Commission

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university
(with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) with at least 60% marks in aggregate
or BE / B. Tech. with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Direct Entry Scheme
B.E./B.Tech./equivalent exam with at least 60% marks.

University Entry Scheme
Pre-final year or final year students of B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent course.
One must score 60% or above in the B.Tech. or equivalent degree.
If final marks comes to be less than the required the candidature of
selected candidates is cancelled.

How To Join IAF

In order to join the Indian Air Force..there are two exams NDA and CDSfor which you can appear depending on your qualification..

For appearing in the NDA exam..

1) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

2) You should be a 12th pass out from a recognized board with Physics,Chemistry and Maths as your subjects..


For appearing in the CDS exam..

1) You should be a graduate from a recognized University

2) You should be in the age limit of 19-23 years..

For both the exams..you need to clear the written exam,then the interview and then the medical exam..

The written exam will test you in the following areas :-
general knowledge
Basic Maths
English

Qualifications to join Indian Air Force in NDA:


a) You have to pass 10+2 with minimum 50% in Physics, chemistry, Maths.

b) Age limit 16 1/2 to 19 years

c) And this is only for unmarried men.


Join Indian Air Force after completing Technical Education

For joining IAF(Indian Air Force) there are mainly two exams-

1.Through CDSE(Combined Defense Services examination)-

Qualification required- Any graduate degree/BE/B Tech degree and having passed Physics and maths in class 12th.

Age limit- 19-23 years

Month of exam- It is conducted twice a year. In the month of February and September.

2.Through SSC(Short service commission)-

Qualification required- Any graduate degree/BE/B.Tech degree with minimum 60% marks.

Eligibility criteria for superior post in government jobs:
Education qualification:
Candidate should have complete graduation degree in any stream from a recognized univeristy
Age limit:
Age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Here are the list of government jobs,you can apply with graduation degree in any stream
Indian Administration Service
Indian Public Service
All the bank PO's exam

HI,
You can join I.A.F after after passing 12th with Physics and Maths.
For this you have to qualify the N.D.A exam.

You can also apply after passing graduation.
For this you have to qualify the C.D.S exam.

Age limit for N.D.A exam:- 16.5-19 yea.
Age limit for C.D.S exam:- 19-24 year.

Both N.D.A and C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in year.

To join in Indian Air force there are many kinds of entries. In which you enter depends on your qualification.

1. You can join through NDA exam if you are a 12th std finished candidate with physics, chemistry, maths as your stream.

2. You can also join by clearing CDS exam if you are a graduate from a recognized university.

3. You can also join through a University Entry Scheme being a graduate from a recognized university.

4. You can join in IAF through NCC entry if you have a C grade certificate in NCC.
