With regards to your query for the education qualification for BSNL JTO EXAM I tell you that for such an exam you should be graduate enough in the field of electronics and communication because as you aware that BSNL is a telecom company so they generally deals with telecom equipment and services so they need a guy who has telecom background scenerio.

Inspite of that they also recruit students who has done B.tech in the field of computer science.

But there phase is telecommunication so they hire more students from this field.

Only graduates from some of the Engineering streams are eligible for the BSNL exam conducted for recruiting as Junior Telecommunication Officer(JTO).The exam is conducted for candidates between the age group 21-30 years.Age relaxation is provided for candidates from SC/ST stream.

The total number of vacancies are split into three categories namely

1.JTO Telecom
2.JTO Electrical
3.JTO Civil

For JTO Telecom department candidates from Electrical,Electronics,Telecommunication,Radio,Com puters,Information Technology
are eligible to go through the examination.

For JTO Civil only candidates from Civil Engineering are eligible.

For JTO Electrical candidates from Electrical are only eligible.

Even candidates undergoing the above courses in the final year are eligible but its just a consideration provided to them as they are supposed to show their certificates at the time of interview if they get selected in the written test.

basically Degree ( B-tech/B.E) is the qualification for jto examination

you must be a b.e or b.tech degree holder in any one of the subjects like telecommunication, radio, computer science or information technology, or electronic & electric engineering

with 2-3 years experience and above 30 years old

Nationality Requirement for BSNL-JTO

Only Indian Nationals would be eligible to apply.

Educational Qualifications:

Education Qualification for applying in JTO-Telecom

Age: The applicant for JTOs(Telecom), JTOs(Civil) and JTOs(Electrical) should not be more than 30 years of age on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates. However, this age is relaxable as per standing instructions on this subject for:-
i) Govt. servants upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt.;
ii) BSNL employees upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the BSNL;
iii) For Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes candidates upto 5 years;
iv) For OBC Candidates upto 3 years;
v) For General Category PH candidates upto 10 years ; (for SC/ST 15 years and for OBC 13 years)
vi) For certain other categories like ex-servicemen, displaced persons from East Pakistan[now Bangladesh], repatriates from Burma and Ceylon [now Srilanka],residents of Goa, Daman & Diu, persons migrated from Kenya, Uganda, Republic of Tanzania as per instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.
(vii) For Residents of J&K – Relaxation shall be in accordance with DoP&T’s Notification No.15012/7/1991-Estt.(D) dtd. 7.12.2007 pertaining to “Residents of State of Jammu and Kashmir (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit for Recruitment to Central Civil Services & Posts) Rules 1997”.

Further in respect of apprentices who have undergone apprentice training in BSNL successfully, there will be following provision:-
(a) An apprentice will be required to compete in the common competitive examination conducted by BSNL along with other direct candidates and preference to the apprentices over non-apprentices direct candidates will be given only if apprentices secures equal place in merit in select zone and all other eligibility conditions being equal.
(b) The apprentices would not be required to get her/his name sponsored by any employment exchange.
(c) The apprentices would be entitled to age relaxation to the extent of the period for which the apprentice had undergone training as apprentice in the BSNL.

* Candidates should be the citizen of India
* Candidates should have age limit within 21 to 30 years.
* Candidates should have 33 years of age for OBC.

BSNL JTO stands for( Junior Telecom Officer) and this is also one of the recruitments which are conducted for the candidates , who are interested to get job in BSNL Telecom Company.

BSNL conducts the JTO recruitments every year and also there are some of the required qualifications which are necessary for appearing to the JTO recruitments.

Any candidate who is a citizen of India with the following educational qualifications are eligible to apply for BSNL Junior Telecom Officer Examination.
