Educational qualification required for IAS exam-
bachelors degree from any recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Maths ,Physics, statistics or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering . Age limit = 21 to 30 years for general (5 years relaxation for sc/st and 3 years relaxation for obc) Number of permissible attempts =4 times for general and 7 times for sc/st/obc. Fee = 100/- foe general (no fee for sc/st ) Thank you |

dear friend ,
to become the ias officer minimum requirement is that candidate have to be graduate student from the recognized indian university. graduation in any discipline like in engineering , medical , bsc , etc minimum age requirement to appear in the ias exam is 21 years and upper age limit is 30 years. there is relaxation of the 3 and 5 years for the obc and sc/st category candidates from upper age limit respectively. general and obc category candidtae can apply for this exam for 4 and 7 times respectively. while there is no restriction on the number of attempts of the sc/st category candidates. for the more information about the ias exam kindly visit the website www.upsc.gov.in thanks and best luck |

yes ,you are eligible to attended IAS but you to graduate from any recognized university your age should be 21-28 year you should have to pass exam criteria like-: 1. Preliminay exam 2. Main exam 3. Interview you should given 4 chance to genral,7 chance to obc,no any chance limit to the sc/st candidates. i am also attaching the pdf file good luck |
