We have two family members which have dob is 15/02/2007 his name is asvani sharma now in class 7th and 13/05/2005 his name is chetna sharma now in class 8th. Are they eligible for class 10th? Can you please give me the right details soon? Thank you!

Look, there is not specific age guideline was published by CBSE board. But this will depend up on the school administration and the state government who decide the age criteria for 10th standard students.

One of your ward with DOB - 15/02/2007 completes their 13 years at the time of 10th examination and your second ward with DOB - 15/05/2005 completes their 14 years (approx.) at the time of 10th examination. And according to me, both are eligible for the 10th standard examination. If the school administration will not object on this.

The age criteria required to appear in CBSE 10th standard board examinations is 15 years. As far as you are concerned about the age criteria for appearing in CBSE Class 10th 2020 board examination then for your information I would like to let you know that the minimum age for the same is 14 years by the 1st October of 2019. Further there is no maximum age limit for the same.

So as per your information the Asvani Sharma being born on 15/02/2007 and being a student of Class 7th is likely to appear in his board examination in 2121 where as the Chetna Sharma is expected to appear in her board examination in 2020 and as per their date of birth and minimum age required for appearing in Class 10th board examination both the candidates are eligible for appearing in their respective board examination.

Generally 10th class will be done at the age of 15 years but no issues it can be done in the age of 14 also.
