Re: What should I do after completing MBA-HR? Presently I am living in Switzerland
MBA in Human Resources is one of the best academic qualifications to have. It is indeed something that the market needs in real time and there is a lot of demand for such people with knowledge in the field of HR.
As per your major concern, which is your current location being in Switzerland you need to consider the following points such that some of them may lead you to some opportunities: 1. Prepare a CV/Resume that includes all the important aspects of your career and make sure that you enter all details about your academics, achievements so far, work experience (already if any), address and personal contact details etc. 2. Like there are some job portals in India such as naukri.com, timesjobs, monster.com, shine etc there would be similar portals that exist in the Europe for recruitment. There would also be local newspapers that would seek talent / employees for various companies to which you can apply / walk in for interviews. 3. Prepare yourself about facing interviews and specially the common questions that are faced by candidates in the European nations. Brush up your skills that would be required in the jobs that you are readily applying. Also read about news and current affairs about both Switzerland, Europe and the world. 4. Also Switzerland has a lot of good educational institutions that provide quality education. Examples would be: ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, University of Basel, University of Zurich, University of Bern etc. 5. Chose good management courses / certifications that are accredited in local companies there and they must help you fetch a good job. You may also start of thinking an HR Consulting Firm as per the government norms there and build your own company. |
