what sholud i take in 11th to get a job in marchent navy....please tell me what should be done

yes you can join Merchant navy either after 12th class not now as To become a merchant navy officer, one needs to be atleast 10+2 or a diploma holder...

There will be 2 year course for Diploma Holders and successful completion you will be join merchant in either of departments

after 12th you have to clear your enterance exams for navy

You should take Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 11th standard in order to get in to Merchant Navy.

The eligible candidate should complete 12th standard with Science subject or a Diploma holder in technical field in order to appear for the entrance exam for Merchant Navy and after successfully completing the course cum training for Merchant Navy , one could get a job.

The minimum qualification is plus two or equivalent examination with physics,chemistry and mathematics. He should also pass a medical fitness test for sea service under standard norms and with eyesight 6/6 with no coulor blindness

Eligibility criteria for Merchant Navy-

Both Male and Female candidate can apply for this exam.

Maximum age limit is 20 year.

Selection is based on the joint entrance exam.

If you are wishing to enter the navigational and engineering fields of Merchant Navy you need to complete your B.Sc. degree in mechanical or marine engineering, before they can gain admission to the field.

for taking job in Merchant Navy you have to first complete your 12th or you can do after a diploma..

My friend , to join in merchant NAVY you have to complete the 11th and 12th with physics , chemistry and maths..

After completion of 12th with PCM , you will be able to join in merchant NAVY as deck cadets..

You can also go for merchant navy after completion of bachelor degree in streams like-Electrical/Mechanical/Technology engineering..

After completion of BE/B.tech course in any of these above streams you can join in merchant navy as engine cadets/junior engineer/Fifth engineer..

So, go for the science stream..

you can surely get into indian navy but for that you need to give an ENTRANCE EXAM called as JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM.AFTER .XII is the minimum requirement for being eligible in this exam

if you clear this exam you need to give interview after which finally yu need to give MEDICAL EXAM

You can join Merchant NAVY after completing 12th Standard or after Graduation.

If you want career in Merchant Navy then choose Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as a subject in your 11th standard.

After 12th there are two aspects in Merchant Navy-

1. Nautical science and Marine engineering.
   
2. Navigational and Engineering fields.

Eligibility conditions for Merchant Navy after 12th:
---------------------------------------------------------

• You should have passed your 12th or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from central/state board or recognized school.
  
• You must have minimum 60% marks in PCM.
  
• Your Age should not be more than 20 years{5 years relaxation for ST/SC}
  
• You must be an Indian Citizen.
  
• Both male & female candidates can apply for this Exam.

Physical requirements for Merchant navy as follows:

You should be physically and mentally fit.

• Eye Sight = 6/6,
  
• Height = 167 cms,
  
• Weight = 50 Kg
  
• Chest = 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)

You can go into this profession through IIT JEE entrance exam. After qualifying screening test of IIT JEE,
you are able to peruse merchant navy course after that you will be eligible for merchant navy jobs.

4. SC/ST Students 25 years is maximum age , these categories are given relaxation of five years.

It depends on what your strengths and weaknesses are.
You need to select the subjects based on these as only then will you be able to reach the heights that you desire.
The common stream after science is to go in for medicine. In the medicine field there are various options like nursing, doctor etc.
You can also choose to do B.Sc.
There are various specialisations in this area too like choosing the Physics, Chemistry or Biology.
Also nowadays courses like Biotechnology, Biochemistry are popular.
So first complete your 12th standard in your area of interest i.e. science and then decide which of these interests you.
It should suit your career aspirations.
