Age limit for civil service exam is:

General category:
candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.

SC/ST:
up to a maximum of 5 years.

OBC:
up to a maximum of 3 years.

A general candidate can attempt Four times only.Where as Seven attempts of OBCs. And no limit for SCs/STs.

IAS exam is conducted by UPSC.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Educational Qualifications for IAS :
Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Age limit:
21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.

you must be a graduate in any regular course and must get 60% marks and after that you can give entrance for that

One should satisfy the following terms and conditions to be placed in IAS (Indian Administrative Service), the top civil service in India.

Candidate should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.

Candidates who have appeared for final year exams of Graduation and waiting for the results can also apply for this Exam.

Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation can also apply for this Exam but they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview.

The following age should be required for the candidates.

Candidates of General category should be in the age group of 21-30 years.
Candidates of OBC category should be in the age group of 21-33 years.
Candidates of SC or ST category should be in the age group of 21-35 years.

The candidate should be a citizen of India.

The job in IAS will be given by cracking the following selection procedure

There is a limit on number of attempts for this exam which will be
Maximum of 4 times for General category.

No limit on number of attempts for SC or ST category.
