Minimum education criteria = Graduate
also Candidates appearing for Degree qualification are also eligible for appearing in the examination, however, they are supposed to submit proof of passing the requisite qualification along with with Detailed Application Form for Civil Services (Main) Examination. Age limit for civil service exam is: General category: candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination. SC/ST: up to a maximum of 5 years. OBC: up to a maximum of 3 years. A general candidate can attempt Four times only.Where as Seven attempts of OBCs. And no limit for SCs/STs. |

there is many terms & conditions:- *Candidate pass graduation *Age- 21 to 30 years 5 years relaxation for SC/ST 3 years for oBC maximum attempts:- 4 times for general 7 times for OBC candidates no limits for SC/ST candidates |

Civil service exam is conducted by UPSC to select candidates for IAS,IPS and other
services . Eligibility :: You must be graduate from any stream from a recognized college. Your age should be between 21 to 30 years .There is relaxation given to reserved caste students in upper age limits and no of attempts: 35 year is upper age limit for SC/ST 33 years is upper age limit for OBC No of attempts :: 4 for general students 7 for OBC students No limit for SC/ST |

One should satisfy the following terms and conditions to be placed in IAS (Indian Administrative Service), the top civil service in India.
Candidate should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. Candidates who have appeared for final year exams of Graduation and waiting for the results can also apply for this Exam. Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation can also apply for this Exam but they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview. The following age should be required for the candidates. Candidates of General category should be in the age group of 21-30 years. Candidates of OBC category should be in the age group of 21-33 years. Candidates of SC or ST category should be in the age group of 21-35 years. The candidate should be a citizen of India. The job in IAS will be given by cracking the following selection procedure CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) Civil Services Main Exam Interview There is a limit on number of attempts for this exam which will be Maximum of 4 times for General category. Maximum of 7 times for OBC category. No limit on number of attempts for SC or ST category. Hope you are clear with all the terms and conditions.
