Sir, you will see that there are a lot of coaching centers which cater to engineering candidates. The coaching centers combine both courses for IIT and JEE. Thus your son will get a flavor of the examination of both types. Your son will be able to give mock tests for both type of examinations and see where he is standing from performance point of view. Tell your son to practice more on Physics and Mathematics to score higher ranks in IIT or JEE. If you want you can give him some tutors also.
