I have studied at different places in KV as my father is in defence services. However I have completed my 11th and 12th from A@N Island. Will this region student are considered to be treated as TN local student for TNEA exam?

Your father is working in defence which comes under government sector. So,You are eligible for TNEA 2016 as per eligibility criteria. TNEA (Tamilnadu Engineering Admission) is conducted by Anna University to provide engineering admission to various colleges across the Tamilnadu.

TNEA Eligibility
- Your native should be in Tamilnadu. If candidate's parents working under public or government sector for last five years , then he is also eligible for TNEA.
- You must have passed in (10+2) with minimum aggregate 50% with PCM as a main subjects from a recognized university.

TNEA Procedure
- Visit the official site of TNEA.
- Click "New Registration" & Register online yourself.
- Log In & Fill the Application form of admission.
- Make a payment of application fees.
- Submit the application form online.
- Merit list will be displayed online which is prepared on the basis of marks scored in qualifying exams.
- Authority will dispatch counseling letters to candidates.
- You have to appear TNEA on schedule date of counseling.
