Re: What's the recruitment criteria of various companies for engineering graduates?
Hi
India has emerged as one of the best IT Companies in the near past and also aims to dominate the IT Industry in the future also. So there are a lot of Engineering Colleges in India which have come up in the recent times both government as well as private. Now because of this, there are a number of companies who have started offering jobs based on the IT Platforms. Some of these companies are TCS - TATA Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Syntel, Accenture, Cognizant, etc and many more... So there are certain Basic Eligibility Criteria's which need to be fulfilled before anybody can apply for a job in these companies. They are :- 1. You should be a minimum graduate in B.E or in the final year to apply for these jobs in these companies. 2. You must have secured at least 60% aggregate in your graduation to be eligible for on campus placements. 3. You should have good communication and technical skills 4. There should not be any backlogs or pending arrears of previous semesters when you apply for the job or sit for the placements. Thus these are certain recruitment criteria's which you need to look at. Your 10th results are fine, but the 12th and the graduation aggregate may create a problem for you later on. So what I would suggest you to do is, try hard to pull your B.Tech aggregate over 60%. This would really really benefit you in your future. You are quite near and I am sure you can do it by the end of your graduation. Rest please practice papers, read newspapers, develop your thinking. These also count. Hope this helps All the best Regards #RJ# |

Re: What's the recruitment criteria of various companies for engineering graduates?
Quote:
* major project * comprehensive viva * seminar your percentage gets easily increased when you put some more efforts and easily you can cross 60% mark which is very essential to get the job in this competitive world one thing you note is you if your planing to attend placements now(in final year ) you should not have any active backlogs of the previous semester. there are lot of companies which keep different benchmarks of percentages for the interview like 01 Infosys has 78% 02.Computer Associates has 80% but other software firms like genpact, ritham tech and many more firms do allow with 60% and do not consider the private firms as end of the jobs world you can enter into Government organisations |
