Dear There,
CSAT stands for Civil Services Aptitude Test. Candidates who qualify this exam can appear for the IAS Mains Exam. CSAT examination consist two compulsory papers: i) Paper I - General Knowledge ii) Paper II - General Aptitude Both the papers consist 200 marks each. Candidates must satisfy the eligibility to apply for CSAT examination. The eligibility for CSAT examination are: * Graduation in any stream from any recognized college / university with any percentage of marks. * Candidates in the final year of Graduation can also apply for this examination. * Citizenship should be Indian. A subject of Nepal / Bhutan can also apply. * Age of candidate must be in between 21-30 years if belongs to General Category. Relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit is granted to OBC candidates and 5 years to SC/ST candidates. No. of Attempts: A General Category candidate can apply upto 4 times where OBC / PH candidates can apply upto 7 times and SC/ST candidates can attempt any number of times as long as their age limit fall between the age eligibility range.
